MAD COW FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

QUESTION: Why cows?

ANSWER: Have you ever seen a longhorn racing at Toronto's Woodbine Racetrack? No. Have you ever seen a heiffer running in the Kentucky Derby? No. Cows are under-represented in the racing circuit. Our aim is to redress that long-standing injustice by providing fair and equal representation for bovines on the race course, thereby proving that cows are udderly capable of running competitively.

QUESTION: Isn't it hot running in cow costumes?

ANSWER: Why, yes. Yes, it is.

QUESTION: Do the cows get paid?

ANSWER: No, the cows do not get paid and don't earn any income from running. The herd is made up of purely volunteer livestock, who pay for their own costumes and entry fees for races. 100% of pledge money goes directly to the races for their charity partners.
